Comedores Noreste — NW Argentina
Since 2014 I have served as a Community Media Consultant and volunteer collaborator for food banks and comedores infantiles across Tucumán, Salta, and Jujuy. My role focuses on storytelling, digital fundraising, and technology integration to improve child nutrition in the region.
scope of work
- Helped to secure and manage social channels for Banco de Alimentos Tucumán, Salta, and Jujuy, amplifying child-focused initiatives.
- Produced donation-driven multimedia stories and event livestreams; collaborated on UNICEF field visits to raise national visibility.
- Helped to secure recurring food sponsorships from Arcor, La Serenísima, Sancor, and Nestlé.
- Integrated crypto-donation rails via block-token campaigns with Ripio and Satoshi Tango; launched transparent on-chain dashboards.
- Coordinated data listings with ReNaCoM and local directories to make kitchen locations searchable country-wide.
results (2014 – 2024)
- 4 × rise in monthly individual donations (≈ ARS 2 M ➜ 8 M).
- 65 % increase in corporate in-kind contributions (kilos of food recovered).
- Social reach grew to ~120 k monthly impressions across Facebook, Instagram, and streaming portals.
- Crypto rails have generated the equivalent of 25 000 meals to date.
current context
National funding for community kitchens was suspended during 2024-25. I continue to provide pro-bono media strategy and fundraising support to keep comedores infantiles operating while new financial channels are established.
